Goat and fufu experience

We received a surprise email from Elder Ashby today!

I have extra time on my computer after emailing the church my lost luggage form so I am going to tell you all about my fufu experience yesterday.
I was a little leery about trying it, but I did enjoy it.  It looks like a slimmy loaf of bread and is made by pounding plantains in a large mortar and pestle.  We ate it in our room and I could have chewed it if I wanted but it is really sticky so you just swallow it.  Killing the goat was interesting.  We just slit its throat so it wasn't very exciting.  (I think he was thinking it might be like deer hunting)  I did drink some fresh coconut milk there and eat the insides.  The milk was sweet and the meat was good.
