Life and zone conference

Hey guys,
So, first of all, I hope you know that I was joking when I said I shower once a week.  I really shower every day like a normal human being. (He told us in our Christmas conversation that he showers once a week.  His Dad told him he needed to shower every day so he doesn't stink everybody out!  He is a teaser!)  And also, I really don't have time to read that blog article from Grandma.  If she can print it and mail it to me, then I can read it with no problem.  Sorry.
This week was kind of slow.  Zone conference was a lot of fun.  We had to wake up at 5 to get in a tro tro and drive 2 hours to Kumasi.  Orji, Osei and I all wore our sweaters.  It was cool, except we had to walk to the chapel and it was very hot.  I saw and got to talk to Helgesen and also one of my MT's, Elder Vause (an elder that was in the MTC at the same time), who is the only one I haven't seen yet.  I talked with him for most of the time.  I really enjoyed talking with him.  He got transferred from Tamale to Kronum in Kumasi.  He had cool stories of teaching Muslim people there. (There are mainly Muslims in Tamale)  President talked to us about trying to work with members better and told us about the new president coming in July, President and Sister Cosgrave from Highland, Utah.  They served as a senior couple in the Accra mission I think.
Sister Holmes took this picture with Elder Ashby in the back.

On Saturday, I went on splits with Elder Kabemba going through his area.  It was cool,  He is a good teacher and likes to walk a lot.  This week we will go on splits again and Elder Osei will come back here and work with me.
I wasn't able to do any shopping in Kumasi when we went because the store was closed, but I am still planning on getting some things maybe around here.
Sorry I can't write more,  my companion is in a hurry to go and I haven't emailed anyone else yet.

Love you all,
Elder Warner Ashby
