Hey everyone.
First of all, no package yet. We go to Kumasi this Wednesday so maybe then.
This week was interesting. We killed another chicken this week for dinner, for the heck of it, and made fufu in the apartment. It was good, but the meat was tough. Elder Orji knows how to mix work with play well. On New years Eve, we started the day normal with teaching and contacting. We had a FM of fufu and bonku with Sister Nii, the branch president's wife. It almost killed us. The bonku was cold, which makes it so much harder to eat, but it wasn't the worst I have eaten and you must eat all the food. I have heard that it is a sin to throw out food if you don't have a dog. I love it when people have dogs or cats because we throw them the undesirable meat when people aren't watching. But after eating, we went to the church for the "All Night". It was a very long sunday school class in Twi. I wanted to leave early but we had investigators sitting with us so we stayed. I ended up falling asleep the last half hour or so. It ended at 10. It somehow broke rules to stay out that late but oh well, zone leaders were with us so they approved, kind of. After ward, we went home. I watched a movie while Schraedel slept. My power nap kept me awake until midnight. At 12, we drank juice and watched people light fireworks for a few minutes and went to bed.
On Saturday, we had our branch New Years/Christmas party. We watched parts of the Christmas Devotional and played party games like musical chairs and carry the egg in the spoon. The food part was unorganized. It was being served to anyone who wanted it while all of this was going on. Feeding our investigators was insane. But it all worked out. It is funny, people eat fufu and rice all the time and when a party is happening, they all come to eat more fufu and rice. It makes no sense. Our recent coverts are coming to every activity. It is really sweet. We had a bunch of new investigators this week. This week we will see if any are going to be serious. Our recent baptisms were confirmed yesterday. Now all of our recent converts are confirmed.
Well, I finally broke down and got a hair cut today. It wasn't to bad. I just told the guy to do it all one length and what size clippers to use. He went with the flow of hair so it is longer than I wanted but it is good enough for zone conference on Wednesday. If the internet is good, I will send some pictures of it. The hair cut was good, but I liked doing it myself. I need to find some clippers soon.

The dry season has officially started now so it is hot. Not so dusty, but dry and hot. We just started week 5 of the transfer. The transfer is flying by. I hit 4 months last week. Nothing special. Just another day.

Here is a picture of the money. They are cedes. I have never seen a 100 and never really want to. We don't like getting 50's because they are hard to break
