We made it!

Hey everyone,

We made to Sierra Leone!!!  We flew to Accra on Tuesday and met with the other elders coming with us.  Once we were all together, we flew over to Sierra Leone.  After a two hour flight, we landed in the country and this time I had all my bags.  We took a water taxi across the bay to Freetown and met President and Sister Clawson. we also met Elder and Sister Barney who were the old Senior couple in Kumasi.  We were taken to the mission home and recieved a small introduction to the mission.  We won't be assigned an area until tomorrow (Friday).  Yesterday and today, we have been recieving training from president. Because this mission has been reopened after 1 and a half years because of ebola, we need to train the members on many things.  president wants us to teach computer literacy and help them in their leadership responsibilities.  We are trying to develop a mission culture and teach investigators who can help the progress of the Church.  We are all looking forward to the challenge.  I already miss speaking twi small. Not listening to it non-stop, but I speak it small with the other Ghana elders.

Teach long and prosper.  I wish everyone good luck.
