Hello everyone,
This week was full of lasts. Today I will go to the mission home and have our final interview with President and tomorrow we will go to our new mission. (He was able to call from the mission home and let us know he is doing good and that he will fly out tomorrow morning just after 7 AM his time.)
This week we spent a lot of time planning for our branch youth and missionary activity. The members of Relief Society who we asked to help us all canceled the day before to help us make the rice for the activity so on Friday, we spent the afternoon cooking jolof rice and frying chicken. It was just the 4 missionaries and Ike. But we had fun doing it. The theme for the activity was "Follow the Prophet." We planned some spiritual thoughts and some games for the activity. I was in charge of a game for following the prophet. We blindfolded one kid and had him walk to one point of the room, following directions from the "prophet" while everyone else gave false directions. It was fun. But somehow the primary thought they were invited too so we had too many kids there and not enough food. We made the primary share rice and gave the youth the normal portion.

On Saturday, we had a service project with brother Samuel on his farm. The whole district was involved. We weeded his farm and ate sugar cane. His farm is big. He grows cocoa and other crops but the cocoa is his major crop he does. His farm is also very far away. After we finished, we went to his house and he fed us bonku and soup. I proudly ate the most bonku. I helped some others finish theirs because they don't like bonku as much. I enjoyed it.

(I see the cocoa bean pods on the tree and I question how much work they got done)

During Saturday and Sunday, I said good bye to my recent converts and gave away some of my stuff. I gave the football toy (Soccer) to Ritas son, Kelvin and some of my ties to the young men. I put off packing until Sunday evening, after church. I hate packing, and I also had to make sure it is under 20 kg. I think it is good though. I had no trouble closing the bags so they should be good. I gave my final testimony in church. I will definitely miss this branch. I collected some contacts so I can hear from some of them again.
