Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Hey guys,

It was great to talk to you on Friday.  Unfortunately, I also have very little to talk about today.

As we got to Skype on Christmas Day we got to laugh and talk about lots of things going on at home and with him and meet (or wave) to the awesome elders that he gets to associate with.  He told us about caroling with the zone on Christmas Eve.  They were able to pass out some of the "A Savior Is Born" cards that the Church has put out for the holiday.  He hopes something comes of passing those out.
he looked good as we Skyped!

Christmas lunch at the Exodus Resturant
Elder Brandt
After we talked, the 4 of us (Elder Ashby, Elder Naawu, Elder Brandt and his companion) walked to the Exodus restraunt and ordered pizza.  They took forever to come. But they were nice.  Elder Brandt and I shared a Hawaiian and chicken and meat pizza. There was no sauce but it was good.  The interview didn't come on that day, so we did it the next day.  (He had said he had a baptism interview to give that night)  I did 3 for them.  2 for Elder Hill and one for Elder Annan and Youne Bi.  After all that and our weekly planning, we didn't have a lot of time left, so we just went around and invited our investigators to church.  We did have a lesson with Sister Constance.  She is really excited about her baptism.  The other branch was out of water so we had to do their baptisms at our branch and she was excited to watch.  She will be baptized next week.
A meal at the Branch Mission Leader's house.  Ike made Jollof Rice.

Yummy food and good friends!
I told you the other day that I made a birthday cake with pancakes and chocolate spread, I will send you the picture.  Yesterday, I ate some brownie batter that I bought.  The box said not to eat the raw batter, but I did anyway.  Raw egg is not the worst thing I have eaten out here.
Happy Birthday to me!!
When you don't have an oven, improvise!
A 3 layer pancake with chocolate spread! Modified birthday cake.

And FanIce ice cream too!  Can't beat that!
Well.  I love you.  Ike says thank you for the stuffs.  Also so does my apartment mates.  Enjoy your New Year.  We will probably watch a movie and sleep.  We will go to Kumasi on Wednesday for Elder Naawu's special training also.  Probably eat KFC while we are there.
Love you much.
Elder Warner Ashby

Each apartment brought something.  They brought beans, plantains, biscuits and coke
