I can't believe that none of you wished me a happy half birthday!!! It is saturday by the way. (He's actually wrong. It is on Sunday. I guess he forgot that he was born on the 21st of December)
To answer your question about what some of the people in the Uno game picture from a couple of weeks ago are eating, it is fan ice. Our ice cream substitute. Fan ice is good on occasion, any more than that it is like dairy overload.

On Wednesday, I went on splits with Elder Adams through my area. After lunch, our appointment failed and we were tired of contacting, so we went to the spot were we bought food. There was some people playing a variation checker game called draft. We asked if we could play and they let us. It is different than checkers. It is played on a 10x10 board with 20 pieces per side. It is played the same, except that you must take a piece if you can and you can take backwards too. Kings can move in a straight line as far as they need. I beat Adams every time I played and I played a woman who worked at the store we were at and won 1 out of 3. I was impressed with myself.
On Thursday, we prepared to move. We contacted for a couple hours and then came home and deep cleaned the apartment. We packed all the books and papers into boxes and bags, moved furniture and swept and moped the house. The next day, we packed our things and took apart our beds and helped load the things inside the truck they brought. Elder Adams and I walked to the new place and loaded everything inside. The others stayed back and loaded the truck again. It took about 3 or 4 trips. We live on the second floor and I realized how out of shape I am in. We had to carry 4 wardrobes inside up 3 flights of stairs. I know that dad does that all the time, but I have been just walking for 9 months carrying a 3 pound bag. My arms were sore the next day but we got everything set up and looking nice. We did have some damage to one of the wardrobes. A door broke off one of the wardrobes but we don't use them, they are just decoration/storage in our front room. We have built in wardrobes in the rooms. So much space in them.

Makuni ("E" sound on the end of his name) and I have been doing better, but we still butt heads sometimes. But we are working well. Family Home Evening was better this time. We were able to start conversation this time instead of just a lecture. No package yet. Maybe today or tomorrow. We had a zone activity today. It was fun. We played Scripture Charades and 20 Questions and ate fried rice. No monkeys. (We keep hoping he'd see some monkeys but he is in the city and doesn't see them around.) Around 6:00 tonight we will go to Family Home Evening. Their food they give us is really good. I don't know what they are preparing tonight. For the last 2 weeks it has been rice ball. I am hoping for bonku or maybe jolof rice.
I hope you all have a good week. I love you a lot.
