Huh?

(We received a message from our Stake President on Thursday this last week telling us that Elder Ashby was being reassigned to the Sierra Leone Freetown mission.  He didn't have any other information to tell us.  He said we would hear soon from someone or possibly Elder Ashby with more information.  We asked Elder Ashby in our email about this and asked a million questions and well, I guess we let the cat out of the bag.  He had no idea what we were talking about. Oops!!!)

Hey everyone,

So I guess that facebook again proves to be extreemly fast at spreading news.  I have no idea what any of you are talking about.  All I know is that like 5 or 6 people all emailed me with congrats.  When I find out what is happening, I will let you know.  Sierra Leone would be sweet though.  When I find out anything, I will let you know.  As of now, I am lost.  I called the ZLs just now and they don't know anything either.  I can try to talk to the nativity guy.  I have his number and I will be going to Kumasi for a specialized training with the zone.  Maybe he can deliver it.  I will have to ask him.  (He wants to have a nativity set made but wanted to wait till closer to his leave date so it wouldn't get lost or broken. I hope he hasn't waited to long now)

Well, this is what I do know.  This week was nice.  I went on exchange with the zone leaders.  I worked with Elder Abrams and got to stay in my old apartment.  I enjoyed that.  I got to walk a bit in my old area and see my old members and a few of my old investigators.  I also showed them how to work the water heater so we got a hot shower in the morning.  They didn't even know it was there.  Unfortunately, Shraedel spilled the beans on the A/C and the mission disconnected it.  That was a bummer.

I have been joking with Ike that he will go reopen Sierra Leone but I have been telling him that Elder Brandt will train him.  (Ike, the branch mission leader in his branch that he has become good friends, with is submitting his mission papers really soon)

Well, you all succeeded in boggleing my mind and I can't think of all the things that happened this week.  The exchange was the major one that I wanted to say but now I cant remember the smaller things.  Someone asked me yesterday how long Rita has been a member and I was surprised that it has been almost 3 months.  I have been here for a while but it doesn't feel like that long.  Time goes by somehow fast.

I love you all.  Have a great week.  Enjoy school and everything else.  I wouldn't worry to much about the change now until we hear everything.  They will let me know plenty in advance.  I think Verdoni heard about a month or so.  So I will be able to prepare things if I need to.  (Not being able to chat with him about this I feel pleased about his positive response to these changes. It makes a mom happy.)

I love you
Elder Warner Ashby
It looks like Elder Ashby got a new scripture bag
the apartment companionships at a free meal
