Hello everyone!

Hey family,
I am glad that you got my letters.  I am also disappointed small.  I was hoping that you would get the one I am sending with Elder Schraedel this week first.  The pouch sped up this month I guess.  Something funny about the pics of Elder Lindley that I sent a while ago.  You sent them to his mom, she uploaded them to Facebook and Ike downloaded them.  We saw them on his phone and Elder Lindley was wondering where they came from.

Family Home Evenings have been good.  We just go to a different family each week, trying to get them to do it on their own.  We will do a lesson with them and play some games and sing some hymns.  It is fun.

This week we went back to Kumasi for zone conference. The zone leaders rented a tro that came around and picked us all up.  We were the first stop, so we had to get up around 5 or so to be ready at 6.  Then we droved around Obuasi for another hour and a half picking up the others and had a 2 hour drive to Kumasi.  The traffic in Kumasi was bad, so we were about 30 minutes late.  They waited for us to come.  After the meeting, we had a zone meeting and had interviews with President.  It was cool.  They instructed us on how to teach Sabbath Day observance in every lesson, to get people to come to church, which is what we have been struggling with.  After all that, we went home.  We got back around 6 or 7.  It was a long day of sitting.

The rest of the week was kind of slow.  We have been having trouble finding this week.  We are planning a missionary fireside to get members to invite their friends, because contacting is not working well now.  Other than that, the week was cool.  Talking with the other elders in the apartment is fun and playing games there in the evening.

For the pigs, we couldn't get the guy to give us a price.  His english wasn't to good so we weren't understanding each other.  Pig is not popular here anyway.  A lot of people are under the Mosaic law therory that pig is bad.  Sad.  It is also expensive.  I have never seen bacon.  People don't butcher meat correct anyway.  They just cut small chunks out, however large you pay for.  Meat, fat, bones. Everything.  If I buy meat it is usually only fish or chicken.

I hope that your week will go well.  Enjoy school and work and everything else.
      I love you much.
Love, Elder Warner Ashby
