I'm back (in Obuasi)

Hey everyone.
I am glad that your weeks went well.
So I will attempt to answer your questions.  Luckily, they are about the same. (We had a ton of questions for him this week as to what a stake missionary is as apposed to a regular elder and lots of other questions.)
So, I am not in a brand new area.  Elder Vause used to work here but they resplit his area.  It combined when I first left.  My companion is named Elder Abu-Bonsra and is from Kumasi.  Technically since I am not his trainer, he is not my son, but I am claiming him as my god-son. Somehow. (We asked if that made him a dad) He has his papers in now and will probably get his call while here.  If he does, we will  throw a party for him.  He is set apart as a missionary by Pres. Cosgrave so he follows mission rules same as us.

The apartment is cool.  Bigger than the other one, but no AC. Power is generally good.  The branch is cool.  It only has like 40 members right now and no one but me really understands the computer.  So I have become branch clerk. At least until I can show someone else how to do it.  I hope that answers most of your questions. (Not as many as this Mom had)  Maybe if you see any really cool ties that you think I might like, you can send them to me.  I can buy ties in Kumasi for pretty cheep but I am getting sort of bored with my current ties.  They are the only form of variety we elders get. (We asked what he would like in his Hump Day package.  That is coming up soon!)
So since our area is a break off of Elder Vause's, he showed us around to some of the people in it.  But since he is also training, we only got a 3 hour tour and then that was it. (And  I don't even have a good Gilligan's Island joke!) We have had to spend most of the week learning the area.  The members have been good about helping us though.  We have recieved a few referrals from them.
Going to Metro Mass on Wednesday was cool.  I got to see all of my mt's (MTC brothers) except for Wilson.  But we had to stay there for 4 or 5 hours waiting for the greenies to enjoy the mission home food before we could leave.
So aside from all the transfer stuff, the week has been normal.  Being in Obuasi again and seeing all the places is strange.  One P-day I will have to visit some of my recent converts and see them.  It is not every time you get to go back close by them.

I love you all.  Enjoy your week.
Love Elder Warner Ashby
