Finally understanding my area

Hey y'all,

    It took 2 weeks but I think I finally understand where everyone in my area is located and can move around it without getting lost.  Elder Abu-bonsra figured it out a while ago but he is from Ghana so it makes sense to him.  He speaks good english well, but likes to teach in twi.  So we are working on that.  It is fine if the person speaks only twi, but then I am pretty useless and we are only supposed to teach in english anyway.  He went with other missionaries a lot back home so he knows the teachings alright.

    Back in the old apartment, we never used Elder Adams' washer.  Trying to fill it was a pain and we had to budget our electricity because we had to buy it ourselves and get reimbursed for it. So we never used it. (I had asked if he missed Elder Adams' washing machine since being transferred)  So for the branch clerk thing,  branch president hasn't said anything about it yet so maybe they have got something going, which I hope, because if I have to do that, it will take so much time out of my day.

    We have been teaching a sister that we contacted last week.  Her name is M---.  When we first came, she wasn't really interested in the message and wouldn't accept a baptism date but she did take Book of Mormon.  As we have been coming back, she has showed signs of progression and excitement when we come over.  She has been reading her book and is starting to open up more.  She finally accepted a date and is hoping to come to church this Sunday.

     I haven't been able to see new president (President Cosgrave) besides the meet the president meeting.  He came to Obuasi but worshiped at Branch 2.  On a side note, Elder Shraedel said that M-- is now 1st councilor in the Elders quorum (This was a man he baptized in December) and another man I taught but didn't baptize is 2nd.  I am happy about it.

    Not much else happened this week.  Saw a lot of cool people, but didn't do any crazy things.  One day we are going to blaze a trail for a district activity as an apartment.
