News from the last 24 hours

Hey me abuswia,

It was great to talk to you yesterday.  That was sweet.  I really enjoyed hearing all of you. (seeing you on a computer would have been great but beggars can't be choosers.)  I am pretty sure that the bad sound was due to part my MTN sim card and the near 7000 miles between Utah and Ghana.  I hope you were able to hear well.  I was able to hear most of all you guys said.  (The sound was a little muffled like wind blowing.  We could hear him pretty well most of the time. I really enjoyed the phone call!)

So after I talked to you guys, Elder Bradley started talking not long later. I went to boil some  eggs after I talked to you guys and forgot about them. The water boiled out and the bottoms were black when I remembered. And also the lights went out around 6.  I made cereal when the lights went out.  Only on for 12 hours.  We were really hoping that they would come back in the morning, which they did.  After Elder Bradley finished, we talked about our families and how you are all doing.  After, we just laid in our beds and did nothing but think really.  Lights out really kill all desire to do anything.  I sat there for a while and then around 9:10 I decided to just go to bed.

Something funny that happened today.  When we were getting a Tro to town, we were waiting at the road side for one going to Kejetia and we were waiting for a while.  We finally hailed one and it had to stop a little ways down and wait for us.  Almost all taxis and tros have some christian saying on the back (unless a Muslim driver owns it, then it is something about Mohamed) and this one said "thank you Jesus".  We thought it was very apropriete for our situation.

This evening we will be teaching at a Family Home Evening for the bishop of Asuoyeboa Ward 2.  We are thinking we will do some activities and some small doctrine.  Should be fun.  We will also be giving talks on Sunday again.

I want to bear my testimony. I know this church is true, I know that President Monson is a prophet.
I have learned a lot out here on mission.  I have gained a strong testimony about prayer and how praying for others can greatly help you.  I love it here, even though it is not always easy.  The Church is true and the Book of Mormon is a powerfully inspired book that can change lives.  I have seen it in my investigators lives.  These are the last days of the gathering of Israel and it is God's work.

Also, the waterfall that we went to in Obuasi was probably one of the cool things that I have seen. (We have asked in several letters to tell us something really cool that he has seen.  This is his answer, finally)

Love you guys.  Have a good day.
