Hello again.
This week was cool. On Tuesday after district meeting, Elders from Bibiani, who are in our zone but 2 hours away came to our apartment for mission tour. They usually stay there when they come up to Kumasi for zone things. So we didn't go out that day because we were playing host. We hung out with Elder Verdoni and his apartment that day. We played cards and talked for a while.
On Wednesday, we went to Bantama for Misson tour. Seeing Elder Dubbi was cool. He is a funny person who likes to laugh a lot. Listening to him was cool. He talked about converting church leaders to missionary work to help with progress to investigators, reactivation and referrals. It was cool. I got to see Elder Shraedel and the other Obuasi guys and ask them about some of my recent converts. Most of them are doing fine and some of my investigators are baptized or preparing to.
The rest of the week was back to normal. On Thursday we had some success. We got a cool referral from a member that we think may progress. And we visited some other people. Friday and Saturday were slower. Contacting didn't go as well. One lady tried to Bible bash with us after giving her a baptismal challenge. She wouldn't accept prophets could be on the earth and wouldn't really listen to our reasoning. So we just got out of there. Other than that, we found a missionary who spoke small English (he said this was a missionary from another faith) and a lady who could be cool but wouldn't listen to our whole message and ran inside as soon as we prayed to close. We will try to meet with her again. Despite all that bad contacting, it was still a good week. We are just praying to find some new people. The bishop is planning to come with us to see some less actives and will have other ward members come with us later.
I had some pics of Elder Vause and Verdoni but I forgot my card reader today. Next week. I look forward to talking to you on sunday.
