Transfer #6

Hey everyone.
So transfer news.  Cockrum is going home and so is Elder Dekaye.  They are combining his area with Elder Onen and Opio because they are in the same ward.  So Elder Bradley is my new companion.  Long transfer. I don't have to to go very far.  One of us is just moving rooms. Elder Bradley is from Georgia and has been out about 10+ transfers. President is running out of missionaries.  He is combining areas all over the place.  It is funny because, when my group came, he had so many he didn't know where to put us and was opening new areas.  Now he is closing them again.  But I am staying here.  Our contract on the apartment we are in will end at the end of the month and they won't let us renew.  So we will be moving at the end of the month.  Kind of sucks but what so ever.  Hopefully the new apartment will be close.  I like having my area around the apartment.
We had 2 baptisms yesterday.  F-- and K--.  Both of them are brothers of E-- who baptized last week.  They were both really excited about it.  Sadly, another candidate, C--, was unable because her legal guardian,  who is a member, wants to study with her himself because he doesn't think she is ready.  She was already interviewed and found worthy, but he has every right to not let her baptize now.  Hopefully it should only take a month.
This week we spent some time saying goodby to Cockrum's recent converts who stay close by.  We got some nice food.  Rice and stew and fried chicken and some fufu.  Ghanaian philosophies are crazy but they make good food.  Speaking of recent converts, I talked to Elder Schraedel the other day, he told me that Temple has gone less active and K-- comes intermittently.  K-- works as a trotro mate so he works whenever his driver says so which sucks but at least he comes when he can.  Temple is being stubborn apparently.  He doesn't speak a lot of twi so he doesn't really understand everything. But he doesn't let the branch fellowship him.  He was usually the first one to leave every day which is what I think the reason was.  Elder Allen is working with him a lot right now.  Schraedel also told me that some of our old investigators that didn't progress so well when I was there are preparing for baptism which makes me happy.  Hearing about Temple is crappy.  He is a powerful guy.
I designed my new planner the other day.  Computer is still bad and I haven't gotten my spare sd card yet so no pic of it.  I put a piece of the Dots box on the back and band-aids on the front.  This is number 6.
I am glad that things at work are going better and that school is good.  Enjoy your last couple weeks. 7 weeks is just over one transfer.

We were able to download a little bit of conference but not much.
Love you all,
Elder Warner Ashby
